Jumbo Roll Kikuyu Installation and supply for the City of Belmont at Miles Park

West Coast Turf are one of the few farms in W.A. able to Supply and install Jumbo Roll Kikuyu. With our Low Impact “Donkey Installer” We ensure that no wheel ruts are left on the new surface.

After major works were completed on sewage pipes at Miles Park West Coast Turf supplied 20m3 of USGA rated lawn sand from Carramar Resources to create a level free draining surface, then Supplied and installed 1200m2 of Jumbo roll “Zulu Kikuyu”.

In Just two Days, three West Coast Turf staff were able to remove the old struggling soft leaf Buffalo and rubber soft fall, then install 8 cubic metres of lawn sand, a new limestone wall and 100 square metres of Zulu Kikuyu. All these works were done the old fashioned way with just a wheelbarrow and shovel, this was due to limited access through a small gate inside the Perth Train Station Car Park. No matter the job West Coast Turf finds a way to get it done.

Blast From the Past:

12 Months ago West Coast turf was contracted to repair turf Damaged from a festival at Elizabeth quay. Here the client gave us just 5 days to remove 4500m2 of dead lawn, supply spread and level 90m3 of Lawn sand, then supply and install 4500m2 of Jumbo roll Zulu Kikuyu. West Coast Turf was able to get it done in just 4 days.

West Coast Turf removed Dead and damaged Lawn caused by wear and shade issues, Once the dead turf is removed then we are able to spread a layer of lawn sand allowing for fast root growth and a better surface to lay the lawn.
